My computer was not a crutch and I wasn't going to let it dictate the course of my career.
I was feeling overwhelmed at work…
I’m sure that others have felt the same but something about this felt different.
A realization had hit me that a large part if not most of my life would be spent working on a computer.
This was a crossroad and I had the option to take one of two paths:
One path would take me through a career of complaining that my computer was hurting my performance. Complaining that I couldn’t accomplish everything that I wanted because my computer was always fighting against me.
The Other path was the understanding that I was only going to be as good as I was on this machine. My computer was not a crutch and I wasn’t going to let it dictate the course of my career.
The only way I was going to be able to travel on the Other path was I needed to change how I work.
I needed to start using my computer and not let it use me.
